Rain disrupts lectures

Classes in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu University, Igbariam campus was seen to be empty as most lecturers ignored their duty post because of the rain.
As for the students, they remained indoors while the rest who made it to class were drenched in the rain.

Army chief promises to pay soldiers fighting Boko Haram

Igbeli Assumpta Kosiso       The announcement is a reaction to a recent letter an unnamed soldier wrote to President Buhari .       Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Tukur Buratai, has promised to pay two months' allowances owed soldiers of the Nigerian Army involved in Operation Lafiya Dole. In a statement signed by army spokesperson, Sani Usman , the army chief said the Ministry of Defence will facilitate the payment this week to soldiers on the front line of the war against terrorist group, Boko Haram , in the north.
